GBS Student Won the 2nd Prize in UNICC Navarra International Case Competition 2017

Jackie Chan (Year 2) and her team were placed the second in the UNICC Navarra International Case Competition organized by the School of Economics and Business of the University of Navarra in Pamplona, Spain in March 2017.

A total of 16 teams were selected to compete in this 3-stage case competition and the competing teams were divided into four pools. The teams had to face two 3-hour cases in stage 1 and crack a 24-hour case in stage 2. Scores would be awarded to teams after each presentation. The team with the highest scores in each pool advanced to the final round. Each finalist had to present the 24-hour case for a second time while the team with the best performance would be crowned the champion.

The Champion went to the University of South Carolina while the University of Alberta was placed the third.

UNICC 2017 brought together students from the world’s finest undergraduate business schools. Students had the opportunity to enjoy an extraordinary academic and cultural experience, strengthen their skills to become successful business leaders, and gain international experience, which was very important in today’s globalized world.
