GBS offers me with boundless opportunities to explore diverse career paths, from finance and consulting to roles in conglomerates. It is a program that has opened doors to a world of possibilities and equipped me with the tools for the career ahead.

My first year as a GBS student was far more than an academic pursuit, it was a transformative journey that enriched me with new experiences, skills, and knowledge. Joining the CUHK case competition team was an unforgettable experience that surpassed all my expectations. Immersing myself in unfamiliar industries from social enterprises to hydraulic equipment suppliers and video streaming platforms, where I had little prior knowledge, was both daunting and exhilarating. These challenges honed my problem-solving and analytical abilities, pushing me to grow in ways I hadn’t anticipated.

A standout moment was competing in the HSBC/HKU Hong Kong Business Case Competition 2025, my first opportunity to represent CUHK. Securing the championship was a defining highlight of my journey. What made this competition truly unique was the absence of electronic devices, requiring me to create hand-drawn presentation slides. The steep learning curve where we all started with rudimentary drawing skills and eventually crafted an entire presentation. This experience compelled us to think creatively, leverage limited knowledge, and structure our analyses and strategies with precision. Though demanding, it was an extraordinary opportunity to push beyond my limits and test my capabilities.

Collaborating with my GBS batchmates fostered a dynamic synergy, filled with shared laughter and hard work, strengthening our bonds that stretch beyond academic. The chemistry and cooperation among us were the cornerstone of our achievements, making every success possible.

Working along with my batchmates from GBS, the working and different laugher has formed and strengthened the bond between us. Enjoy the chemical and synergy with everyone that make things possible Competition aside , connecting with peers from across universities every time fostered meaningful cultural exchanges and forged lifelong friendships. These moments will forever hold a special place in my heart.

GBS offers me with boundless opportunities to explore diverse career paths, from finance and consulting to roles in conglomerates. It is a program that has opened doors to a world of possibilities and equipped me with the tools for the career ahead.
